One Dog Fact
Dogs were first domesticated from wolves at least 17,000 years ago, but perhaps as early as 150,000 years ago based upon recent genetic fossil and DNA evidence. In this time, the dog has developed into hundreds of breeds with a great degree of variation. For example, heights at the withers range from just a few inches (such as the Chihuahua) to roughly three feet (such as the Irish Wolfhound), and colors range from white to black, with reds, grays, and browns occurring in a tremendous variation of patterns.
Dogs are highly social animals and this similarity in their overall behavioral pattern accounts for their trainability, playfulness, and ability to fit into human households and social situations. This similarity has earned dogs a unique position in the realm of interspecies relationships. The loyalty and devotion that dogs demonstrate as part of their natural instincts as pack animals closely mimics the human idea of love and friendship, leading many dog owners to view their pets as full fledged family members. Dogs seem to view their human companions as members of their pack, and make few, if any, distinctions between their owners and fellow canines. Dogs fill a variety of roles in society and are often trained as working dogs. Dogs that do not have traditional jobs, a wide range of dog sports provide the opportunity to exhibit their natural dog skills. In many countries, the most common and perhaps most important role of dogs is as companions. Dogs have lived with and worked with humans in so many roles that their loyalty has earned them the unique sobriquet "man's best friend."

Grooming your dog
Fifi comes prancing out of the groomer’s, one delicate paw in front of the next. Blue ribbons tied to his ears, his tail cut into a tidy little pompom. He’s perfectly pretty-maybe too perfect to be playing fetch in the backyard, you worry.
Grooming your pets doesn’t mean that they have to be made-up and untouchable; it simply means that you’re taking good care of their health by keeping a watchful eye on their hygiene. Pets, like humans, are more likely to remain healthy when they are clean and well groomed. Contrary to popular belief, dogs and cats are not wild animals; they require regular grooming attention to keep them healthy in their domestic environments. One of the major benefits of a regular grooming regimen is that you will become familiar with your pet’s body. This allows you to quickly recognize problems with his health, so you can bring them to your veterinarian’s attention sooner. Remember that you should seek help from your veterinarian if you think that your pet will be difficult to groom alone.

Eye Problems In Dogs
Eye and eyelid diseases are traditionally divided into congenital-developmental and hereditary, trauma, inflammatory, immune-mediated and others, and eye and eyelid tumors. The difference in the orbital anatomy in the different breeds of dogs can predispose particular breeds to certain eye and eyelid diseases. For example, the deep and large orbits of giant and large breeds can predispose them to entropion and chronic conjunctivitis. The shallow orbit of the brachycephalics predispose these breeds to corneal exposure.

Dogs With Heartworm problems
The moment heartworm-transmitting mosquitoes bite your dog, the larvae will be transferred into its bloodstream. It will incubate there for several days. That’s the on-start of the disease. If left ignored, the parasites will eventually cause your pet a lot of harm. As such, it has to be treated right away.
On the other hand, heartworm in dogs is a type of disease that can easily be prevented. However, it can be very challenging to treat. The only good news is that this disease is rather seasonal so it is much easier for pet owners to protect their dogs from it.
Heartworm in dogs can be prevented in many ways. There are preventives in the form of injections and oral medicines. The injection is usually given to the dog on a monthly basis, quite diligently during the heartworm peak season. Examples of such vaccines are Ivermectin, Milbemycin, Lufenuron, and Selamectin. Talk to your vet as to how your dog can use these medicines to keep heartworm away from their system.

Your dog will gnaw on any thing it can reach, from furniture to your sons $90 dollar shoes. Some teething dogs will even chew on wallboard. When your dog is gnawing and chewing you may also see that your dog maybe drooling too!!!

You can teach your dog three different types of training in his life. You can teach him Crate Training, Clicker Training, and House Training. When your dog is a baby you want to give them warm milk once in a while for the first month then your dog may be sick of having all of that milk. I you would not like to teach your dog these things i will be more than happy to train your dog for you.
The ten most bad behaviors dogs do
Bad behaviors that all dogs have are: Aggression, Barking, Jumping up, Digging, Running away, Marking, Whining, Chewing, Nipping. If you would like your dog(s) to stop doing those then you can just tell me and I would be happy to help your dog stop doing those things. If your dog has problems jumping on people when they come into the door then you should take a spray bottle and spray your dog each time that he jumps on people. That is how i am teaching my dog not to jump on people.
Dog Training
I love to train dogs. I would love to train your dog. I love to train dogs to do things in the the water. My favorite thing to train dogs in the water is surfing. I taught my dog to sit in one day. Now all i have to say is SSS and he will sit. I also taught him to stay. Now he is staying in the living room while I go and get a treat for him. I will also teach your dog not to run away if your dog has problems running away. I would love it if I could train your dog. I like to put the dog that I trained in dog shows to show people how much they learned. I like to put my dog in the dog show on May 7th. This dog show is for really fast runners and at it is dog show dogs have to race against each other. I take my dog down to a park in my neighborhood to practice picking up his speed. I can teach your dog to start picking up his speed.
